Rihanna to open VMAs

With the hours ticking down to Thursday's 2012 MTV Video Music Awards broadcast, the musical treats in store for viewers keep getting sweeter.

 Rihanna will open the show with a collaboration featuring A$AP Rocky.

She'll serve up a sexy performance of the official remix of her Talk That Talk single "Cockiness" with Rocky.

 Then Calvin Harris will step up to give an assist on the pair's VMA-nominated global smash, "We Found Love."

Nicki Minaj will also grace the stage with a secret guest and 2 Chainz will make his VMA debut.
