One Direction have revealed that they're detailing their rise to fame in a 240-page book hitting stores this summer.

"One Direction: Where We Are: Our Band, Our Story," will hit retailers on August 27, just days before the opening of their 3-D flick "This Is Us." 

Released by HarperCollins, it is the "only official book from 1D charting their journey."

Following the example of New Kids on the Block and 98 Degrees, Backstreet Boys will release a new studio album in 2013. 

"In A World Like This" will be released on July 30, and three days later, the Boys will kick off a North American tour in Chicago.
