MTV announces Top 25 Songs of 2010 countdown

Last week, MTV News kicked off our countdown of the Top 25 Songs of 2010, the list is now down to its top ten and taking that number ten sport is Lady Gaga’s “Telephone.” Eminem and Rihanna's massive hit "Love the Way You Lie,” captured the number 9 spot on the countdown.

      "Love the way youLie" is an honest examination of a destructive and abusive relationship, a rapidly descending tale of two lovers who cannot live without each other, and seem destined to die because of it.

The honest and raw hit was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks.

The top 25 list also features heavy-hitters like Lady Gaga’s "Alejandro", Katy Perry’s "Teenage Dream", Rihanna with "Rude Boy", B.o.B’s hit “Airplanes" and Kanye West with "Monster".
