Machel says "Champion is we name"

Beenie Man and Machel Montano collaborate on “Champion”, the second single off of the Going For Gold album which is essentially a remake of “Mr. Fete.

       But Machel’s team boasts of super star power behind the song which was reproduced by Damien Leroy professionally known as DJ Ammo who co-produced, back-to-back, the multiplatinum singles The Time (Dirty Bit) and Just Can’t Get Enough with musical icon Will. I. Am of the Black Eyed Peas.

    “Champion” is definitely a Caribbean collaborative effort with Rondell ‘Speedy’ Teggaregg, who created the dance remix and  Andrew ‘Hitz’ Phillip from Grenada along with Martin ‘Mice’ Raymond of Champion Sound Studio in T&T working on the track.

      Noel Cadastre originally from St. Lucia now working as an engineer in hip hop star Drake’s camp, also worked on the track.
