It was intended to be a hang out day in a strange country with no fans in sight. But Adam Levine of Maroon 5 admitted it wasn’t so after all.
On Thursday hours before their concert performance at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, band members decided to chill out at Maracas Bay.
Adam Levine told thousands of fans at the National Stadium that as soon as they got to the beach, hoping no one would recognise them a group of about 20 people just freaked out, pointing in their direction and declaring Maroon Five.
It was not disappointing that his cover was blown. Indeed Levine said last night it was indeed delightful to come so far from home to a place he has never been before and meet people who actually recognize him.
Maroon Five performed at the launch of Star 94.7 last night, with Five Miles to Midnight, Kes the Band and the Far East Movement as supporting acts.
